April 16: Walk in the Park

Get ready for the Step To It Challenge!  Join us on April 16th at 10 am for a walk around the Community Activity Center. A fitness instructor will be on hand to talk about 8 keys to proper fitness walking. The walk will take place outside, weather permitting. (An indoor option is available for inclement weather)  Channel 12 will be out to film the event!

May 4: Kick off with the Mayor

Brookview Park – Large shelter, 200 Brookview Parkway

Jumpstart your Step To It Challenge with a walk with Mayor Shep Harris.  The recreational 45 to 60 minute walk will leave the park shelter and take the trail to Lions Park making a circuit back to the shelter.  There will be a shorter walk cut-off.  No registration is necessary.  Free give-aways for signing up for the challenge while supplies last.

May 4: Rogers Kick off

North Community Park, 13750 Bittersweet Lane

Kick-off the Step To Challenge…taking greener strides by joining us for a community clean-up on Sunday, May 4th at 1:00pm at North Community Park (13750 Bittersweet Lane, Rogers).  All the steps you take beautifying the park will count towards your Step To It totals!

May 5: Walk with the Mayor

6:00-7:00 pm

Plymouth Creek Center – 14800 34th Avenue

Start racking up the steps with Mayor, Kelli Slavik. We will walk the Hilde Performance Center and Plymouth Creek Park areas for 30-45 minutes. Snacks and water provided. Bring a water bottle.

May 6: Robbinsdale Walks with the Mayor

Join Mayor  Regan Murphy for the kickoff of the Step To It Challenge.  He will host the “Trash to Treasure” clean up walk on Tuesday, May 6.  Prize drawings for attendees and awards to "Best Trash Picker".

May 6: Sabathani Community Center

Join fellow residents at the Sabathani Community Center to register for and kick-off the Step To Challenge…taking greener strides. Community members, including youth will also lead a community clean-up to celebrate the green theme of the Challenge.
