Step To It in Your Worksite
What is the worksite Step To It?
It’s a four-week campaign to increase employees’ activity on and off the job. During the challenge, May 1-28, employees track their activity using the Step To It Web site. Worksites also compete against each other to see which is the most engaged and active. There is no cost or fee for worksites to participate in the Challenge.
What does the worksite competition look like?
Throughout the challenge, Hennepin County Health@Work staff will keep you informed of how many steps participating organizations are logging so you’ll know how the competition is stacking up! At the end of the challenge, Hennepin County Health@Work will recognize and award prizes to the worksite with the highest average steps logged per participant and the worksite with the highest percentage of employee participation.
Your worksite must be located in Hennepin County and you must register with Linda Brandt at firstname.lastname@example.org or 612-596-1511 to be eligible for prizes.
Ready to sign up as a worksite?
Organizations that would like to record their steps together may register for the challenge by creating a Worksite Group. To create a Worksite Group, first designate a company coordinator. The coordinator then registers for the Step To It Challenge as an individual. Once registered as an individual, the coordinator may create a group for the worksite. Once the Worksite group is created, the coordinator may manage the worksite account and sign up additional group members.
