About the Challenge
Do you have a competitive spirit? Do you want a fun and easy way to get in shape and live green this spring? Then the four-week Step To It Challenge is for you!
Get active with your community!
The Step To It Challenge is a fun, lighted-hearted way to connect with family, friends, and neighbors, and get moving again after a long winter. Twenty four communities will compete to see which one has the most active residents. Participants are encouraged to take green strides that save energy and natural resources too! Taking green strides not only saves natural resources, it helps you increase your physical activity. Walk or bike to your destination, pick up litter in your local park, or help plant a community garden. These activities can help you achieve your goals or maybe win the “Most Active Resident” award from your community. Here are a few “green activities” to help increase your step count.
MinnesotaTwins: Proud sponsors of the challenge
The Minnesota Twins join Hennepin County and participating communities as proud sponsors of the 2016 Step To It Challenge. Winning participants from each community will be recognized during a Twins game this summer.
